Frequently asked questions

  • How much do services cost?
    Our services are in line with NDIS Price Guide. We work with you, your budget and support needs to ensure you are getting the best value for your money.
  • Can children and adults access supports?
    We support individuals of all age. We work with you to create an Individual Support Plan to aid with turning your goals in to achievements.
  • Do I need a doctors referral?
    No, you don’t! We can discuss with you how we can support you and through which channels; be it NDIS, other funding bodies or fee-for service.
  • How long does it take for supports to commence?
    We appreciate that your time is valuable and that your support needs may be urgent. We will do our best to accommodate your needs, however this will depend on our Support Schedule and the availabilities we have at the given time. If we are unable to support you, we will recommend other local providers that may be able to assist.
  • I have a disability but am not a reciepent of the NDIS. Can you assist with the process of becoming a participant?
    Of course! We are here to guide you from the beginning of your journey.
  • Can I cancel my supports with Empowered Choices?
    Definitely. Finding the right support worker can be tedious. Whilst we do our best to match you with a likeminded support worker, we understand that sometimes we aren’t the right fit. If you have an agreement with us, your notification of ceasing of supports is 2 weeks
